Primary Responsibilities
Support the Security Supervisor in all aspects of security including operations of security. Assist the Security Manager in ensuring that the mall is always safe and secure for public. 

  • Assist Security Supervisor in ensuring overall security of shopping mall.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day security of the mall, internally and externally.  
  • Implementation and execution of security SOP, standing instruction and policies. 
  • Create a strong and efficient security team. 
  • Monitor of security guard’s performance and the compliance to SOP. 
  • Develop and review daily reports. 
  • Attends to all incident and accident and its near misses. 
  • Establish good relationships with tenants and occupants of the mall. 
  • Supervise a team of outsourced security guards that consist of local and foreign nationality. 
  • Develop internal mall security teams’ roster and schedules.  
  • Ensure adequate manpower for shift and daily review of security personnel attendance, discipline, and competency. 
  • Perform mall walk to ensure customer security and safety.
  • Report any incidents, security breaches etc. to the Security Manager on a daily basis. 
  • Immediate response to all security matters. 
  • Conduct internal investigation on all incidents and accidents of the mall.  
  • Liaise well with and assist authority in crime prevention in line with community policing. 
  • Other duties that may be assigned by the Security Manager/Operations Manager/General Manager - Centre Management Office of Central I-City Shopping Centre. 

  Skill Requirements
  • Minimum SPM/STPM/Certificate or equivalent. 
  • Ex-military personnel will be an advantage. 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in multi-storey shopping mall security management with variety of businesses or relevant industry experience. 
  • Familiar with contract management of security service providers in shopping mall. 
  • PC literate especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). 
  • Financial Management skills including budgeting and forecasting will be an advantage. 
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a small team. 
  • Prepared to work on weekends and public holidays, if required. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills including relationship building.
