FACILITY COMMAND CENTRE OFFICER (FCC)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the Security Manager in aspects of security and operation of Facility Command Centre (FCC) including all the system in FCC are in good, efficient, effective and responsive manner. Assist the Security Manager in ensuring that the mall is always safe for general public.
  • Implementation of CPN and FCC policies and SOP.
  • Create a strong and efficient, effective and responsive FCC team.
  • Co-ordinate well with security supervisors to ensure better response to incident or accident.
  • Co-ordination & communication with internal and external parties.
  • Management of security contracts and contractors and handle insurance cases.
  • Create a good FCC activity reporting system and methodology.
  • Ensure that the operating expenses under his responsibility are within the budget.
  • Establish good relationship with tenants and occupants of the mall.
  • Assist Security Manager in ensuring overall security of shopping mall.
  • Plan and maintain proper FCC operations schedules to ensure adequate manpower for shifts and its attendance record.
  • Supervise FCC operations in accordance to SOP.
  • Ensuring all FCC systems alarms are attended to without fail and all activities are recorded.
  • Monitor and maintain all security system in FCC are in good and functionable manner.
  • Ensure all FCC related systems or FCC integrated / inter-related systems are in functionable and in good condition.
  • Plan and schedule FCC systems maintenance and equipment checks with operations team and vendors.
  • Schedule and routinized guard touring / clocking patterns for preventive patrols.
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly FCC’s security and safety reporting to the Security Manager.
  • Co-ordinate and provide reasonable support to investigations.
  • Ensuring the Safety & Health Procedures in FCC are followed and to ensure the workplace is safe.
  • Other duties that may assign by the Security Manager/Operations Manager/General Manager - Centre Management Office of Central I-City Shopping Centre.

  Skill Requirements
  • Minimum SPM/STPM/Certificate or equivalent
  • Ex-military personnel will be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in security of multi-storey shopping mall management with variety of businesses or relevant industry experience
  • Familiar with contract management of security service providers in shopping mall
  • PC literate especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  • Financial Management skills including budgeting and forecasting will be an advantage
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a small team
  • Prepared to work on weekends and public holidays, if required
  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills including relationship building
